JSC Uranium One Group Receives Certificate of Conformity to ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Information Security Management Standard Uranium One Group, part of Rosatom’s international mining division – Uranium One, received an international certificate evidencing that the company’s information security management system corresponds to the world’s best security practices and complies with the requirements of ISO/IEC 27001:2013 standard. In late 2016, British Standards Institution (BSI), a global leader in the field of standardization and certification, audited the information security system of Uranium One Group for compliance with ISO/IEC 27001:2013 standard. The experts evaluated the arrangement of risk management system, and the system of protecting information resources from internal and external threats. The International ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certificate proves that the company ensures effective management in standard and emergency situations, and implements a range of information security measures. “The certificate demonstrates that Uranium One provides the highest level of protection to confidential information of the company and information of its contractors, – emphasized Vasily Konstantinov, the President of Uranium One Group. – The compliance with the most stringent information security requirements is of primary importance for nuclear companies, which reinforces its foreign partners’ confidence”.
